I love this album!! It's one of my favorite movies. The opening song "Baltimore" sets it off to a great start. Some of my other favorites include "Without Love" and "You Can't Stop the Beat". Everyone in the cast does a great job singing and I'm a huge huge huge James Marsden and Zac Efron fan! If you enjoy the movie or just like Broadway music, this is a great album to buy!

I really like this album. I am a total Broadway geek and so of course I would love this movie and soundtrack. However, some songs are better than others. I didn't really like the differences regarding the story line, which changed around some songs.

Mediocre at best. Nothing really jumps out
as a favorite or a song you would play
over and over. Maybe something to have on
while you are cleaning around the house,
but nothing to spend 8 bucks on...

The music on this album is so great! I really loved it when I watched the musical and am so excited that it is all compiled on one disk for me to listen to over and over again!

I have to say, I was entertained by the movie, but it fell flat, and the soundtrack is much the same for me. It doesnt hold my attention, and I find myself reaching to change the song pretty quickly. Not a good buy in my opinion.

Hairspray is a wonderful story that our society today needs more of. I feel that this film was perfectly cast because the characters come to life even more than the original production. Without even seeing the film, you can easily see that here on this album. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the first movie and soundtrack,but in all honesty, did not care for this movie or the soundtrack.It was a real disappointment for me considering all the good actors and voices they had.

I remember when everyone was excited for this movie. I thought it was okay. I received this album as a present and decided to give it a listen. Zac Effron is indeed okay on this, but the rest of the songs are whatever. Better to just buy the movie instead.

The Hairspray album is such a good picker-upper. Zac Efron's vocals are just as amazing as he is! A definite buy!
