Album Description
The Tom Lehrer Collection is Tom Lehrer's first-ever hits collection, containing highlights from across his 40-year-long recording career. Fans are treated to material from his live albums for Reprise (An Evening Wasted with Tom Lehrer and Revisited), That Was the Year That Was, early-`70s material recorded for The Electric Company, radio performances, a rare 1960 single and more. This collection also contains his first-ever DVD, featuring a slew of unreleased performances, including a complete 1967 Oslo concert, animated clips from The Electric Company, and other TV performances. Tom Lehrer is a preeminent musical comedian who achieved notoriety and great success in the '50s and '60s. He left show business for a career as a math professor, but rewarded his loyal fans with occasional albums, appeared on national television shows such as The Electric Company, and even composed and performed new material for the Garrison Keillor's The American Radio Company.

I really enjoyed the song (I'm Spending) Hanukkah In Santa Monika, and Pollution. I really liked these tracks because they offered a unique sense of my music taste, and gave me a lot to think about. I have not previously reviewed the album, though I think that there is a lot of potential for it in the future!
