Product Description

Based on the 1960 Academy Award-winning Billy Wilder film The Apartment, PROMISES, PROMISES tells the story of the Consolidated Life Insurance Company and Chuck Baxter (Sean Hayes), one of its charming young employees. In an effort to advance at the company, Chuck lends executives his apartment for their extramarital romantic trysts. But things become slightly complicated when Fran Kubelik (Kristin Chenoweth), the object of Chuck s affection, becomes the mistress of one of his executives.
The hit-packed score for PROMISES, PROMISES was the one and only Broadway foray of Burt Bacharach and Hal David and includes the gems I Say A Little Prayer, A House Is Not A Home, I ll Never Fall In Love Again, Promises, Promises, Knowing When to Leave and Turkey Lurkey Time.

MY FAVORITE MUSICAL OF ALL TIME. I love kristin. her voice is amazing. i love the fast paced tone of the music. its great. i feel like i'm at the theater all the time.

Kristin Chenoweth is the best thing about this album, especially in Tracks 6 and 7. There is no doubting that when it comes to the quality of music and performance on this album that Kristin Chenoweth blows it out of the water.

As a huge fan of Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes, I cannot get enough of this album. A House Is Not A Home is one of my favorite songs ever so I have to remind myself to stop skipping back to that song when I listen to this album because the entire thing is just stellar.

Absolutely anything with Kristin Chenowith in it is bound to be fantastic, and that's exactly what this is. She really brings a great taste of music to her songs and it's really inpsiring.
