Nortec Collective's Clorofila presents his long-awaited solo album 'Corridos Urbanos.' Clorofila is the stage name for Jorge Verdin, known for both his musical and graphic design contributions to Nortec. 'Corridos Urbanos' is based on stories related to Verdin from across Tijuana and Southern California. He collaborated with a variety of tambora and norteÃ±o musicians on tuba, accordion, clarinet, and horn parts. Although the album is mostly instrumental, there are several tracks with featured vocalists including Australian singer Supina Bytol and David J (of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets fame)
