The album charts the journey of a young girl's relationship, beginning with the first kiss, the thrill of a blossoming love and the joy of a love fulfilled, to finally the disappointment and anger of a relationship broken apart. It ends with the girl's acceptance and a cheeky sense of optimism about what her future love life might hold. Kate creates her own unique song cycle - a thematic journey through the highs and lows of love, telling a story of young naivety lost as well as emotional maturity gained: feelings and experiences to which many can relate.
