I dare you to give her a LISTEN and I double dare you to watch her on YT singing LISTEN, a Beyonce classic on YouTube.
Why? Because she's an amazing talent with stage presence and maturity beyond her years and a compelling background story to boot. But, enough of her and more about the album itself. It goes without saying that I am a fan. Nonetheless, I will now give my very unabashed biased opinion. LOL!
I like all the songs of course but my favorites, for now, are:
1. Nobody's Singing to Me - nice hook; you can actually catch yourself unwittingly humming this over and over again.
2. Note to God - as powerful a ballad as there ever was. Breathtaking the first time she sang this on Oprah a year ago and I am still gasping for air now!
3. In This Song - an inspirational song for me. Watch the Oprah show which aired May 11, 2010 where she launched her album and sang this song. If this song and the collage of stills and video clips behind her doesn't inspire you I am sorry but you are too jaded, cynical, and are beyond redemption.
4. Reset - this shows her unique and prodigious musical talent of being comfortable in all genre including rap! Is there anybody out there in her age group or even older who sings ballads, Pop, R&B, and Rap with equal aplomb?
5. Thank You - I don't know why some are saying they don't hear her soaring vocals in this album but I hear it here and in some of the other tracts as well.
6. Nothing - just love the beat. So sue me.
7. Pyramid - this is her first pop/R&B single and she is enjoying it to the hilt. Very refreshing.
8. All that I need to survive - her voice here is very controlled, so sweet and soft, so vulnerable, so soothing. Despite the fact the she has never been in love before (I know because I and a growing army of fans follow her every move) she sounds so convincing.
I am almost sure that the rest of the tracts will eventually become favorites that the entire album will be an indispensable part of my daily musical fare.
Now if after purchasing this album you end up not liking it, what's thirteen dollars? However, if you get hooked like the growing number of Chasters all over the world, for less than 20 dollars, you will have YEARS of pleasure listening to this CD and watching her grow her craft right before your very eyes. If that is not a bargain, I don't know what is?

All songs are great!
Love the melody, love the lyrics (unlike other songs played on the radio which seems like noise and no meaning whatsoever), and the distinct vocals...
Worth buying since it rareley happens that a CD, like this one, contains all songs which for me are music awards materials.
Great job to the producer and hope more of the likes will be out, it's high time for good music to have a comeback.

I listened to Charice songs online that was available on charicemusic.com and charicemania.com. When the album came out I purchased it on iTunes. Also, another order when Charice was on QVC. I had to go to Walmart few days after that and I ended up buying another CD to give to a friend. It has been a long time since an album like this was produced, music that makes me stop to listen and enjoy. I'm going to McDonald's today to eat in and I'll have my Ipod so I can listen to Charice and enjoy my meal. I'm truly lovin it, Charice album.

15 time Grammy winner, David Foster has assembled the best of the best songwriters, musicians and co-producers for this remarkable album that will be loved by ALL ages.
.
Charice's first single, the passionate love song "Pyramid" featuring Iyaz (another amazing singer with hits on the charts), has already soared to the TOP - it is # 1 on the Billboard Dance Charts (May 2010).
.
"In This Song" was written by David Foster to tell, in song, the story of Charice's life and shows the beauty of Charice's voice and vocal range - it is rare that I gain inspiration from both a song and the singer.
.
"Reset" is a song for the gadget generation and champions the value of second chances in relationships.
.
"Nobody's Singin To Me" is a mixture of R&B and Pop, witty lyrics and a melody you will not be able to get out of your head. I predict it will become a big hit, even bigger than Pyramid. I do care who you are you will love this song.
.
'Thank You' expresses beautifully the love Charice has for those that have been there to love and support her, her Mom and brother, close friends, Oprah, David Foster, Celine Dion, Ellen, Andrea Bocelli, David Duenas (FalseVoice) and so many others. When you listen to the lyrics you will relate it to those in your own life and you had better have a handkerchief handy.
.
'All That I Need to Survive' has a Country/Pop flavor with subdued instrumentation that showcases the enchanting voice of Charice. The song goes beyond love to the strength of intimacy.
.
I am probably nearing the word limit but let me say that 'Note to God' needs to be heard by every person on our planet as only Charice can advocate it with her passionate vocals. The World would be a much better place. In fact, one of the main reasons I am such an fervent Chaster (fan+) is I recognize the World will be a better place knowing Charice as an artist, person and role model.
